{"id":21518,"date":"2025-06-19T11:01:23","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T09:01:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maltunabackupanterior.vl26979.dinaserver.com\/?p=21518"},"modified":"2025-06-19T11:01:23","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T09:01:23","slug":"miguel-altuna-will-take-part-in-the-international-conference-bridges-5-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maltuna.eus\/en\/miguel-altuna-will-take-part-in-the-international-conference-bridges-5-0\/","title":{"rendered":"Miguel Altuna took part in the International Conference BRIDGES 5.0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"53\" data-end=\"360\"><strong data-start=\"53\" data-end=\"127\">European industry has begun its journey toward digital transformation.<\/strong> Although the concept of Industry 4.0 was initially driven by productivity and technology, the experience of the past decade has made it clear that for digital transformation to be truly effective, a broader perspective is necessary.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"362\" data-end=\"911\"><strong data-start=\"362\" data-end=\"480\">Industry 5.0 adds key new elements to this earlier approach: people, environmental sustainability, and resilience.<\/strong> It proposes an alternative vision for the future, where companies embrace their role in building a prosperous and sustainable society based on new production models. We must build human-centered work environments where technology helps generate higher-quality jobs and fosters lifelong learning and professional development. Progress toward a greener, more circular economy that makes better use of natural resources is essential.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"913\" data-end=\"1061\">We must invest in developing new skills so that both industry and workers can become more resilient in an increasingly changing and uncertain world.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1175\"><strong data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1175\">In response to these challenges, the Bridges 5.0 project is paving a fast-track pathway toward Industry 5.0.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1547\">Aware of this reality, <strong data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1234\">Miguel Altuna Lanbide Heziketa<\/strong> has joined this transformation and took part in the international conference held on <strong data-start=\"1320\" data-end=\"1358\">June 16 and 17 in Leuven (Belgium)<\/strong>. During the event, teacher <strong data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1403\">Unai Ziarsolo<\/strong> presented a talk entitled: <em data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1547\">\u201cAdapting Vocational Education and Specialization Programs to the Needs of Industry 5.0: Smart Manufacturing 5.0.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1927\">In his presentation, he analyzed the adaptation of the Smart Manufacturing specialization program, highlighting strategies to respond to the emerging skill demands of Industry 5.0. Initiatives like this aim to foster more participatory work environments, innovation, and the empowerment of workers\u2014contributing to greater European competitiveness and a more sustainable economy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1929\" data-end=\"2064\">This conference was organized in collaboration with the <strong data-start=\"1985\" data-end=\"2002\">EUWIN network<\/strong> by the projects <strong data-start=\"2019\" data-end=\"2047\">BRIDGES 5.0, BROADVOICE,<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2052\" data-end=\"2063\">SEISMEC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2076\" data-end=\"2108\"><strong>Link to the conference website.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>European industry has begun its journey toward digital transformation.
