Miguel Altuna teachers actively participate in LCAMP 2025 Conference in Sweden
From May 13 to 15, teachers from Miguel Altuna are participating in the LCAMP 2025 Conference held in Finspång, Sweden — a key event in the field of advanced manufacturing and Learning Factories (LF).
On the first day, Professor Unai Ziarsolo gave two presentations. The first one, under the panel Learning Factories in Partner Institutions, showcased the different LF models being implemented by project partner institutions. The second one, within the LCAMP Activities panel, focused on the LF – Self Assessment Tool, a self-evaluation questionnaire that helps educational centers assess how well Learning Factories are integrated into their systems.
In the afternoon, Professor Liher Errasti led the workshop Training in Learning Factories, a dynamic session where participants with common interests collaboratively designed a course aimed at fostering student exchange.
The second day was dedicated to company visits. One highlight was the visit to Siemens Energy, where participants learned about zero-carbon electricity generation, turbine manufacturing, and 3D metal printing technologies.
