LF4VET: Presentation on Industry 5.0 at the Graz Forum

Miguel Altuna teacher and LCAMP member Unai Ziarsolo presented Industry 5.0 and Learning Factories 5.0 on September 9 in Graz, Austria, during the Forum on Vocational Excellence 2026.

Together with representatives from FH Joanneum, he explored the implementation of Industry 5.0 in Higher Vocational Education and Training (HVET), focusing on people, sustainability and resilience.

The session addressed the three main pillars of Industry 5.0 and showed how 4.0 and 5.0 technologies can be integrated into Learning Factory environments, as well as the skills and approaches needed for this new paradigm.

The presentation encouraged discussion and the exchange of experiences among professionals from different European countries. One of the main conclusions was that Industry 5.0 is not only a technological shift, but also a new way of understanding and developing industry.

The event also provided an opportunity to showcase the work of LCAMP Alliance and the potential for strengthening collaboration between vocational education and industry through Learning Factories.
