Miguel Altuna, ICFG member, will join the 59th ICFG Plenary Meeting

The countdown is on for another great meeting of the international forming community! In a few weeks, Darmstadt, Germany, will host the 59th ICFG Plenary Meeting, taking place from 20 to 24 September 2026. Miguel Altuna will once again take part as an ICFG member.

The meeting will be hosted by Prof. Peter Groche at the Institut für Produktionstechnik und Umformmaschinen (PtU), TU Darmstadt. Over several days, experts, researchers and professionals from industry and academia will come together to share knowledge, exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

The agenda is already available and features an exciting mix of keynote lectures, technical presentations from industry and academia, Subgroup sessions and the Young Scientist Exchange Prize.

But the ICFG Plenary Meeting is about more than presentations. It is also a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from around the world, exchange ideas, build new connections and spark future collaborations.

We are looking forward to being part of this new edition, sharing knowledge and meeting again with the international forming community.
