Miguel Altuna LHII hosts the Kick-off Week of an international 3D printing project
Miguel Altuna LHII has hosted this week the Kick-off Week of the international project Building Bridges, Boosting Skills: EU students united in 3D printing. The initiative combines additive manufacturing and Sustainable Development, promoting collaboration among Vocational Education and Training students from different European countries.
The project is promoted by the One for All Foundation and involves CIFP Santurtzi LHII and Miguel Altuna LHII from the Basque Country, together with Elektrostrojarska skola from Varaždin (Croatia). During the working sessions, the main objectives were defined and the activities to be carried out in the coming months were planned.
At this initial stage, four students from each institution will work together on a challenge related to sustainable 3D design and manufacturing. Students will also strengthen their technical skills and their English communication competences, essential for working in an international context.
This project provides students with hands-on experience, a European perspective and key skills for their future professional careers.
